Designates a 4.736 mile portion of Interstate 710 in Los Angeles County (from post mile 19.730 to post mile 24.466) as the Detective Raul Vasquez Gama Memorial Highway.

Requests the Department of Transportation to determine the cost of appropriate signs for this special designation and erect them upon receiving donations from nonstate sources to cover expenses.

Honors Detective Gama, a Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputy who was killed on May 1, 2007, when a vehicle crashed into his parked surveillance van during an undercover operation.

Recognizes Gama's 20-year career achievements, including a 2004 Medal of Valor for rescuing four children and their parents from a runaway freight train, and over 52 commendations.

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit copies of the resolution to the Department of Transportation and the bill author for distribution.
