Honors the memory of over 300,000 Assyrians murdered during the Genocide of 1915 (1914-1923) by the Ottoman Empire through mass executions, death marches, torture, and starvation

Acknowledges that the Armenian, Assyrian, and Greek genocides and the Simele Massacre inspired Raphael Lemkin to coin the term "genocide" and establish the Genocide Convention in the 1940s

States that Turkey has not recognized the 1915 genocides and notes that persecution of Assyrians continues in their ancestral homeland by various state and nonstate actors

Commends the resilience of the Assyrian people and Assyrian American organizations for their contributions to education, advocacy, and cultural preservation
