Honors and recognizes the service and sacrifice of members of the United States Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Space Force, and Coast Guard) and their families.

Acknowledges Armed Forces Day, celebrated on the third Saturday in May (May 21, 2022), which was created in 1949 to honor active duty service members and National Guard and Reserve components.

Commits the California Senate to supporting Armed Forces members and their families, and encourages all Americans to show appreciation for their service.

Commends private citizens and organizations that volunteer to support wounded warriors.

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit copies of the resolution to the author for distribution.
