Requires each school district and charter school maintaining grades 9-12 to adopt a plan by January 1, 2025 to offer at least one computer science education course, with full implementation by 2027-28.

Establishes a phased timeline: at least one high school per district by 2025-26 school year, 50% of high schools by 2026-27, and all high schools by 2027-28; all charter schools must offer the course by 2026-27.

Defines "computer science education course" as instruction aligned to state computer science standards where students actively understand how computing works and create computational artifacts, not merely use technology passively.

Requires school districts and charter schools to describe efforts in their plans to increase enrollment of underrepresented groups including female pupils, pupils with disabilities, pupils from specific ethnic and racial groups, and low-income pupils.

Mandates annual reporting to the state beginning June 30, 2026 with enrollment data disaggregated by gender, race/ethnicity, special education status, English learner status, free/reduced meal eligibility, and grade level, plus teacher demographic and credential information.
