Requires community college districts to negotiate compensation terms for part-time faculty office hours with exclusive bargaining representatives as a condition of receiving Student Success and Support Program funding.

Districts without collective bargaining agreements as of January 1, 2024 must commence negotiations on that date; districts with existing agreements must begin negotiations by the expiration date of those agreements.

Part-time faculty compensation for office hours must maintain the same ratio to full-time employee office hour compensation as the part-time employee's teaching hours bear to full-time teaching hours.

Office hours compensation shall not count toward maximum part-time faculty hour limitations or tenure eligibility requirements under Education Code Section 87482.5.
