Amends Labor Code Section 4656 to exclude certain temporary disability payments from aggregate disability payment calculations for workers' compensation claims.

From January 1, 2024 through January 1, 2027, if a treating physician's requested treatment is denied but the denial is overturned by independent medical review or the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, temporary disability payments from the denial date until treatment authorization are excluded from aggregate disability payment limits.

Allows aggregate disability payments to be extended up to a maximum of 90 days per medical treatment dispute when a denial is overturned.

The new provision sunsets on January 1, 2027, after which aggregate disability payment calculations revert to existing law.
