State Department of Health Care Services must conduct outreach to each tribal government in California to inform them of naloxone hydrochloride or other opioid antagonist availability through the Naloxone Distribution Project (NDP).

Department must provide technical assistance to tribal entities applying for naloxone kits through the NDP upon request.

Department must submit annual reports to the Legislature and Assembly and Senate Health Committees by March 31 each year beginning March 31, 2025, detailing participating tribes, number of applicants, and effectiveness in reducing opioid overdoses and deaths in Native American communities.

These provisions expire and are repealed on March 31, 2027.
