Requires sellers of single-family residential property located in a fire hazard severity zone to specify whether the property is in a high or very high fire hazard severity zone on the Natural Hazard Disclosure Statement.

Clarifies that the disclosure must distinguish between three fire hazard categories: high FHSZ in a state responsibility area, very high FHSZ in a state responsibility area, and very high FHSZ in a local responsibility area.

Amends Section 1103.2 of the Civil Code to update the Natural Hazard Disclosure Statement form to include checkboxes for these three specific fire hazard severity zone designations.

Effective July 21, 2023 (approved and filed by Governor).
