Amends Section 50233 of the Health and Safety Code to add a new requirement for regionally coordinated homelessness action plans.

Requires continuums of care using state funding for encampment resolution to provide evidence of collaboration with cities, counties, or city-counties and explain how people served through encampment resolution will be prioritized for permanent housing in coordinated entry systems.

Applies to jurisdictions using Homeless Housing, Assistance, and Prevention program funding or receiving Encampment Resolution Funding program grants for place-based encampment resolution services or housing.

Specifies that the requirement does not supersede or limit federal coordinated entry system requirements.

Approved by the Governor on October 10, 2023, and became Chapter 727.
