Legislative Analyst's Office must conduct an assessment by January 1, 2025 evaluating the efficacy of allied health programs (including nursing) jointly offered between California Community Colleges, California State University, and University of California

Assessment report must include the number of joint programs, applicants, admissions, enrollments, degree recipients, job placement rates, and completion rates

Report must evaluate how well existing programs fulfill state workforce shortages using statewide supply and demand data, and include information on program costs and funding sources

Report must provide recommendations on whether and how joint, intersegmental allied health programs can be extended and expanded

Legislation automatically repeals on January 1, 2026
