California Interscholastic Federation must make itself available for legislative hearings during non-reporting years when requested by appropriate policy committees.

State Department of Education must develop a standardized incident form by January 1, 2025 to track racial discrimination, harassment, or hazing at high school sporting games and events, and annually report aggregated data on its website without personally identifying information.

School districts, county offices of education, and charter schools participating in the California Interscholastic Federation must post the standardized incident form on their websites by April 1, 2025 and submit completed forms to the department upon request.

The standardized incident form must include a complaint category and information on how to report hate incidents or hate crimes through the Civil Rights Department's CA vs. Hate Resource Line and Network.

Completed incident forms are public records subject to California Public Records Act exemptions that protect pupil and school personnel confidentiality.
