Authorizes associations to adjourn director elections to a date at least 20 days later if initial quorum is not met, with the adjourned meeting requiring only 20% of voting members as quorum instead of the originally required amount.

Requires associations to provide general notice at least 30 days before ballot distribution that includes the date, time, and location of the meeting where quorum will be determined and ballots will be counted.

Mandates notice at least 15 days before an adjourned election stating that 20% member participation will satisfy quorum requirements and that ballots will be counted if that threshold is reached.

Requires associations to inform members in advance that the board may call a subsequent meeting at least 20 days after a scheduled election if the required quorum is not initially reached.

Applies these quorum reduction provisions to both common interest developments governed under Civil Code Section 5115 and nonprofit mutual benefit corporations governed under Corporations Code Section 7512.
