Makes it a misdemeanor for any person to vote or attempt to vote in both a California election and another state's election on the same date.

Exempts elections held in landowner voting districts or other districts where residency is not required as a qualification for voting.

Adds Section 18560.1 to the Elections Code to establish the new crime.

Approved by Governor and filed with Secretary of State on October 10, 2023.

Specifies no state reimbursement is required to local agencies or school districts for implementing this crime provision.
