Establishes the Nursing Pathway Pilot Program requiring the Superintendent of Public Instruction to allocate one-time funding for career pathways toward associate degrees in nursing at community colleges, offered at high schools serving grades 9-12.

Selects pilot local educational agencies (school districts, county offices of education, charter schools, state special schools) through competitive application by July 1, 2024, based on demonstrated ability to partner with community colleges and provide professional development, credit-earning opportunities, and community college support letters.

Requires the Superintendent to consult with the Board of Registered Nursing during application development and mandates the Board review and approve nursing curriculum to ensure alignment with the Nursing Practice Act.

Allows pilot agencies to use funds for teacher professional development, nursing-aligned instructional materials, and hands-on instruction in health care facilities; requires funding to remain available through fiscal year 2026–27.

Ensures pupils earn credits toward associate nursing degrees and gain preferential enrollment at community colleges upon successful completion, contingent on additional nursing program capacity above 2024–25 levels; requires legislative report by January 1, 2028.
