Adds facilities that provide pediatric care to the list of businesses required to post human trafficking notices, defined as medical facilities providing pediatric services under Welfare and Institutions Code Section 16907.5.

Requires notices to be at least 8.5 by 11 inches in 16-point font and include information about the National Human Trafficking Hotline (1-888-373-7888) and text line (233-733).

Mandates notices be posted in English, Spanish, and one additional language that is the most widely spoken language in the county where applicable under the federal Voting Rights Act.

Imposes civil penalties of $500 for first violations and $1,000 for subsequent violations on businesses failing to comply with posting requirements.

Allows local governments to adopt additional ordinances, rules, or regulations to prevent slavery and human trafficking without being preempted by state law.
