Requires the State Department of Education to develop and disseminate information on abuse prevention (including sexual abuse) for school personnel, effective July 1, 2025.

Mandates schools provide annual training to employees on child abuse prevention, with proof of completion required within the first six weeks of each school year or employment.

Adds abuse prevention training requirements to existing mandated reporter training on child abuse detection and reporting, with legislative intent that prevention content not extend overall training duration.

Requires schools not using the State Department of Social Services online training module to report alternative training being used.

Provides for state reimbursement to local agencies and school districts for any costs determined by the Commission on State Mandates to result from this legislation.
