Adds Section 12964 to the Insurance Code requiring the Department of Insurance to report annually to the Assembly Committee on Insurance and Senate Committee on Insurance regarding wildfire risk models.

Reports on wildfire risk models must be submitted on or before January 1, 2026, and on or before each January 1 thereafter.

Reports cover wildfire risk models used pursuant to Section 2644.9 of Title 10 of the California Code of Regulations, which govern assessment of wildfire risk for residential and commercial structures.
