Expands the housing assistance committee for sexually violent predators to include officials from alternative placement counties, not just the county of domicile.

Allows department-convened committee meetings to be held by teleconference with public access to the public portion of meetings.

Requires that notices regarding conditional release recommendations be sent electronically and by certified mail.

Mandates that sheriffs, chiefs of police, county counsels, and district attorneys from alternative placement localities provide assistance, consultation, and contact information in the housing location process at least 60 days before conditional release.

Provides for reimbursement to local agencies if the Commission on State Mandates determines the bill imposes state-mandated costs.
