Office of the Inspector General must post the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation's Centralized List of Disapproved Publications on its internet website and be notified each time the list changes.

The Centralized List of Disapproved Publications must include the title, author, publisher, year of publication, and the stated violation of department regulations for each prohibited publication.

The Inspector General may review publications on the banned list upon request by incarcerated persons, publishers, or other affected persons to determine if the department's determination was appropriate.

The Inspector General must notify the department if it disagrees with the department's determination that a publication violates department regulations.

The Inspector General's annual report to the Governor and Legislature must include a summary of publication reviews conducted and the department's responses to notifications of disagreement.
