Requires state agencies entering into contracts with private entities solely for call center work to report to the Department of General Services on and after January 1, 2025.

Reporting must include the total number of jobs and percentage located within California, as well as the number and percentage of jobs in other states with identification of those states and job types.

For contracts involving overflow, emergency, or contingency call center services, agencies must provide job location information along with contingency terms.

Department of General Services must maintain a master list of all covered contracts and aggregate job numbers, made available to the public upon request.

Exempts contracts where call center services are secondary and related to state employee benefits.
