Authorizes school district governing boards to adopt alternate term schedules for physical education courses in grades 6-12 as an alternative to traditional scheduling requirements.

Requires grade 6 students under alternate schedules to receive no less than 400 minutes of instruction every 10 days for a semester of at least 18 weeks (3,600 total minutes annually), and grades 7-12 students to receive 800 minutes every 10 days for a semester of at least 18 weeks (7,200 total minutes annually).

Alternate term schedules must align with the state board's physical education framework, be sequential and age-appropriate, comply with high school PE course requirements, and prepare students for required physical performance testing.

Deems an alternate term schedule as satisfying physical education course requirements for high school graduation purposes.

Establishes complaint procedures under existing Uniform Complaint Procedures for noncompliance with instructional minute requirements and prohibits private right of action, while preserving existing writ of mandate relief.
