University of California is requested to post annual reports on a publicly accessible website beginning December 1, 2026, and each December 1 thereafter, containing enrollment data for students in UC schools of medicine.

Required report data includes total numbers of enrolled students, first-generation students, federal Pell Grant recipients, multilingual students (disaggregated by language), community college transfer students, and students with California Indian or federally recognized tribal membership.

Reports must also include total applicants to UC medical schools, relevant contextual data, breakdown of institutions where students earned baccalaureate degrees, and sexual orientation and gender identity data if available.

Data must be disaggregated by campus, cover the relevant academic year, comply with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, and contain no personally identifiable student information.

This reporting requirement expires and is repealed on January 1, 2035.
