Department of Public Health must solicit applications from vendors by December 31, 2025 to provide written and oral nurse assistant certification exams in Spanish.

Department must publish and update at least twice annually by July 1, 2029 a list on its website including approved training programs, current training status, competency test pass rates by language for the previous 2 years, and number of nurse assistants trained in the previous 2 years.

Existing requirements for approved training programs remain in effect, including 16-hour orientation, 60 classroom hours, and 100 hours of supervised clinical practice for nurse assistant certification.
