Expands where physician assistants (PAs) may assist doctors of podiatric medicine to include staff members at the same organized health care system, in addition to partners, shareholders, or employees in the same partnership, group, or professional corporation.

Removes the requirement that PAs assisting doctors of podiatric medicine act only according to patient-specific orders from a supervising physician and surgeon.

Removes the requirement that a supervising physician and surgeon be available for consultation when a PA renders assistance to a doctor of podiatric medicine.

Limits PAs assisting doctors of podiatric medicine to performing only those duties authorized in the practice agreement.

Maintains existing supervision requirements for PAs working in general acute care hospitals and other standard practice agreement requirements under Section 3502.3.
