Extends the deadline for courts to electronically serve documents to parties subject to mandatory electronic service or who have consented to electronic service from July 1, 2024 to July 1, 2025.

Clarifies that electronic service of documents by a court has the same legal effect as service by mail, except as specified in existing statute regarding time extensions.

Applies to any action where a party is subject to mandatory electronic service under represented person rules or has provided express consent to electronic service.

Declares the act an urgency statute effective immediately upon approval by the Governor on July 18, 2024.
