Maintains existing access restrictions for limited civil case records in unlawful detainer actions, allowing access only to parties, attorneys, and specified persons under particular conditions.

Preserves the 60-day delay for public access to records after complaint filing, unless judgment for the plaintiff is entered within that period or a court order grants access for good cause.

Requires court clerks to mail notice to defendants within 24-48 hours of complaint filing, informing them of access restrictions and providing contact information for legal services and bar associations.

Became effective September 27, 2024, requiring no appropriation but reviewed by the Fiscal Committee.
