Department of Transportation must submit annual reports to the Assembly and Senate Committees on Transportation by January 1, 2026, and every year thereafter regarding all airspace sites leased under state highways.

Reports must include specific information for each leased airspace site, including department district, parcel number, property number, route, tenant details, tenancy dates, square footage, use type, and lease compliance status.

Reports must document site inspection dates, lease obligation compliance status with descriptions of any noncompliance, actions taken for non-compliant sites, and proximity to sensitive infrastructure.

Reports must include monthly rent outlined in leases and monthly rent actually collected during the lease duration.

Annual reports must also contain an executive summary with the number of expired leases, sites that failed annual inspections in the prior five years, and the number of non-compliant leases.
