Allows administrators of alternative payment programs and CalWORKs Stage One or Stage Two childcare programs to use administrative and support service funds to help families at risk of homelessness or escaping domestic abuse secure stable childcare placement.

Requires that referral pathway services be provided in coordination with county human services agencies and must not replace existing services provided by those agencies.

Authorizes administrators to partner with homeless service agencies, domestic violence agencies, or other supportive housing providers to deliver these services.

Applies to childcare programs serving children ages 0 to 12 years old.

Approved by the Governor on September 29, 2024, and became Chapter 958.
