Amends Section 25681 of the Business and Professions Code to require Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) training courses to include education on drink spiking prevention and response by January 1, 2027.

Requires RBS training to cover best practices for preventing or protecting a person from drink spiking (putting alcohol or drugs into another person's drink without consent).

Mandates RBS training to include best practices for individuals who believe they or someone they know has been drugged through drink spiking.

Defines "drink spiking" as putting alcohol or drugs into another person's drink without their knowing and express consent, also known as roofying.

Approved by Governor on September 28, 2024, and filed with Secretary of State the same date.
