Department of Financial Protection and Innovation must create and make available online resources about financial abuse of domestic violence victims by January 1, 2027

Online resources shall include information on the connection between domestic violence and financial security, prevalence of financial abuse, and its impacts on survivors' employment and credit history

Resources must address the need to protect survivor privacy and autonomy, including respecting whether survivors choose to report abuse to law enforcement

Department may use existing websites, links, and materials from state agencies, nonprofits, and community groups to fulfill this requirement

Financial institutions are not required to become mandated reporters of domestic violence based on using the department's provided information
