Requires incarcerated pregnant persons in state prisons to receive a minimum of 120 ounces of free, clean bottled water daily and high-quality, high-caloric nutritional meals meeting California Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children standards.

Prohibits incarcerated pregnant persons in state prisons from being placed in solitary confinement or restrictive housing units during pregnancy and for 12 weeks postpartum, except when there is a credible and imminent threat to safety or security and placement is limited to no more than five days.

Reduces the timeframe for providing written reasons for denial of community-based program access or support person requests from 15 working days to 5 working days of receipt of the request.

Maintains existing requirements for pregnancy testing, comprehensive medical examinations within seven days, prenatal care visits on specified schedules, prenatal vitamins, and prohibition against tasering, pepper spraying, or exposure to chemical weapons for pregnant incarcerated persons.

Requires referral to social workers to discuss feeding and placement options for newborns and assist with contact to relatives regarding placement.
