Requires California State University and California Community Colleges, and requests University of California, to collect and post student housing data at least twice each academic year on campus websites.

Expands data collection to include the number of enrolled students and housing waitlist applicants who are veterans, as defined in Military and Veterans Code Section 980.

Requires campuses to report on available housing stock, waitlist numbers, student housing requests, and incoming student housing needs, broken down by veteran status where available.

Mandates annual reports to the Legislature compiling all campus housing data, with reports due on or before October 15th.

Provides state reimbursement to community college districts for any costs determined to be state-mandated under this requirement.
