Department of Education shall annually conduct a study on participation, performance, and outcomes of college readiness programs including international baccalaureate, advanced placement, dual enrollment, early/middle college high schools, and career/technical education.

Study shall include number of participating pupils by subgroup and course subject, postsecondary credits earned, and average number of courses taken and successfully completed by each pupil.

Study may include data on pupils earning baccalaureate degrees within four years or associate degrees within two years of high school graduation, and percentage of college readiness courses where pupils did not receive postsecondary credit.

Department shall complete and submit the study to legislative budget and policy committees and Department of Finance by April 30 of 2028 and 2029.

Article becomes inoperative on April 30, 2029, and is repealed as of January 1, 2030.
