Legislative Analyst's Office must conduct a study on housing insecurity among community college students 25 years or older and students with dependents, evaluating demographic data and barriers to securing housing.

Study must examine on-campus housing availability, cost, discrimination, financial/legal barriers, vacancy rates, homelessness prevalence, childcare availability, and emergency rehousing resources.

Report due to Legislature by January 1, 2026, with policy recommendations for addressing nonfinancial housing issues, including options like family-style or intersegmental housing.

Report data must be disaggregated by age, parenting status, first-generation status, disability status, foster care status, veteran status, incarceration history, and immigration status.

Section expires and is repealed on January 1, 2027.
