Revises interest calculations for STRS members purchasing additional service credit and redepositing accumulated retirement contributions, with interest accruing from date of refund to date STRS receives the request rather than date of payment.

Requires members to sign and return completed statements of contributions and elections to redeposit within 35 calendar days from date of offer for both service credit purchases and contribution repayments.

Extends the repeal date for post-traumatic stress disorder presumption provisions in the County Employees Retirement Law from January 1, 2025 to January 1, 2029.

Removes return receipt requirements for registered or certified letters sent by retirement boards to members regarding accumulated contributions and benefit payments.

Makes technical amendments to the Judges' Retirement Law provisions regarding optional settlement elections and survivor benefits for judges retiring on or after January 1, 2018.
