Requires the State Department of Education to post information on its website by the beginning of the 2026–27 school year about methods for reducing chronic absenteeism in schools.

Mandates inclusion of seven specific strategies: identifying attendance barriers through screenings, developing intervention plans with supportive services, conducting home visits, providing counseling and wellness check-ins, offering family workshops, partnering with public and nonprofit agencies, and forming schoolsite absence intervention teams.

Specifies that schoolsite absence intervention teams should include members such as pupil personnel services credentialholder, school or district representatives, community-based youth service representatives, child welfare and attendance personnel, school or county health care personnel, and mental health personnel.
