Establishes the Childcare for Working Families Task Force to recommend comprehensive strategies for addressing challenges working families face in accessing flexible, affordable, and quality childcare options.

Task force must be convened by the Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz) and include representatives from state agencies, community organizations, labor, business, researchers, childcare providers, and Thriving Families California.

Task force shall submit a report to the Legislature and executive branch by January 1, 2026, including analysis of care gaps, success of existing programs, and benchmarks to measure progress toward supporting working families with childcare.

Creates the Childcare for Working Families Fund to accept voluntary donations from nongovernment sources to support implementation of the task force.

Provisions become inoperative on July 1, 2026, and are repealed effective January 1, 2027.
