Establishes the School Mapping Data Grant Program under the Office of Emergency Services to provide one-time grants to school districts, county offices of education, and charter schools for school mapping data contracts with qualified vendors.

School mapping data is information designed to assist public safety agencies in efficiently responding to on-campus emergencies at participating schools.

Local educational agencies receiving grant funding must select a school mapping data program in collaboration with local public safety agencies that meets criteria established by the Office of Emergency Services.

The Office of Emergency Services may expend up to 5 percent of appropriated funds on administrative costs to implement and administer the grant program.

Implementation requires appropriation by the Legislature in the annual Budget Act or another statute.
