Amends Section 87482.8 of the Education Code to revise policy preferences for part-time community college faculty, clarifying that faculty names should be listed in both the schedule of classes and course schedules provided to students, faculty, and staff once assigned to a course.

Adds Section 89516.5 to extend all community college part-time faculty policy preferences to part-time California State University faculty, including six-week advance notice of assignments, pay for the first week when classes are canceled less than two weeks before semester start, and listing names in course schedules.

Establishes that part-time faculty at both systems should be treated as integral department members with rights to participate in book selection, department activities, and access to college resources such as office space, copy machines, library, and professional development opportunities.
