State Department of State Hospitals must submit a report by January 31, 2026 to the Senate Committee on Budget and Fiscal Review and Assembly Committee on Budget covering fiscal year 2024-25 expenditures related to civil service psychiatrists.

Report must include the budgeted amount for civil service psychiatrists and the actual amount expended.

Report must detail amounts expended on civil service psychiatrists working additional caseload and the number of psychiatrists who participated in this additional work.

Report must include total amounts expended on contract psychiatrists during the fiscal year.

These reporting requirements become inoperative on June 30, 2026 and are repealed effective January 1, 2027.
