Limits the exemption to nonprofit institutions formed as corporations before January 1, 2023, and expands it to include institutions formed out of state

Maintains minimum compensation requirements: either a monthly salary of at least two times the state minimum wage, per-course/laboratory compensation based on classroom hours, or payment under a collective bargaining agreement

Sets per-classroom-hour minimum rates of $117 (2020), $126 (2021), $135 (2022), with annual increases thereafter tied to the state minimum wage percentage increase

Declares that these amendments are declaratory of existing law rather than substantive changes
