Extends the Court Reporters Board of California and related provisions from January 1, 2025 to January 1, 2029, subject to legislative review upon repeal.

Requires certified shorthand reporters to state their full name and license number on the record at the beginning of proceedings, whether appearing in person or via remote technology.

Restructures the state licensing examination into three divisible parts (English, Professional Practice, and Dictation/Transcription) with specific passing grades, allowing applicants to pass all three parts within 3 consecutive years with conditional credit for completed sections.

Requires applicants and certificate holders to provide and maintain a valid work email address with the board, with the board taking reasonable actions to encourage email maintenance.

Adds "voice writer" to the list of words and phrases that, when used in combination with court reporting terminology, indicate or tend to indicate certification, making unauthorized use a misdemeanor.
