Extends the sunset review date for the Cemetery and Funeral Bureau from January 1, 2025 to January 1, 2029, making the chapter subject to legislative review as if scheduled for repeal on that later date.

Requires licensed cemetery authorities to provide detailed information about their endowment care funds to the bureau by January 1, 2028, including cemetery size, acreage sold, number of spaces sold, and endowment care fee collection history.

Mandates the bureau submit a report to the Legislature by January 1, 2029 analyzing whether endowment care fund levels are sufficient to cover future cemetery maintenance costs.

Requires the bureau to convene a workgroup by July 1, 2027 to discuss options for maintaining abandoned cemeteries, including the possibility of county responsibility, and submit recommendations to the Legislature by January 1, 2028.

Establishes that when a cemetery's certificate of authority is cancelled, surrendered, or revoked, the bureau shall take control of endowment care funds within 90 days, appoint a bank or trust company as trustee, and may compensate the trustee beyond the standard 5% limit.
