Establishes the California Court Interpreter Workforce Pilot Program administered by the Judicial Council to develop training and increase eligible applicants for court interpreter employment, operating until January 1, 2030.

Requires the Judicial Council to select at least 4 counties including Los Angeles to participate by September 1, 2024, and select up to 10 applicants per superior court beginning December 1, 2025.

Mandates development of a court interpreter training program by July 1, 2025, including coursework options from labor organizations, community colleges, and universities, with the superior court agreeing to hire successful participants.

Requires participants to work for courts for at least 3 years after passing exams and enrolling with the Judicial Council, with courts able to require prorated repayment of training and exam costs if employment lasts less than 3 years, except for involuntary termination or hardship.

Creates the California Interpreter Workforce Development Plan fund to pay for training, coursework, and up to 3 interpreter exam fees for applicants, with funding available upon legislative appropriation or allocation.
