Clarifies that protective orders issued under Penal Code Section 136.2 may be modified by the sentencing court in the county in which the order was issued throughout the duration of the order (up to 10 years).

Applies to defendants convicted of domestic violence, human trafficking, gang-related crimes, or sex offenses requiring registration.

Establishes that the sentencing court retains authority to modify orders based on the seriousness of facts, probability of future violations, and safety of victims and their immediate families.
