Authorizes local educational agencies to employ braille instructional aides under the supervision of credentialed teachers to reinforce braille instruction for pupils who are functionally blind or visually impaired.

Requires braille instructional aides to demonstrate fluency in reading and writing grade 2 braille and possess basic knowledge of braille construction rules.

Mandates local educational agencies provide braille instructional aides with information about the California Classified School Employee Teacher Credentialing Program and the Teacher Education Internship Act of 1967.

Replaces references to the Wildman-Keeley-Solis Exemplary Teacher Training Act of 1997 with the California Classified School Employee Teacher Credentialing Program, which substantially revised and renamed the earlier act.
