Exempts restaurants located in airports, hotels, event centers, theme parks, and museums from the definition of "fast food restaurant" under California Labor Code Section 1474

Exempts restaurants operated in conjunction with corporate campuses (serving primarily employees of a single for-profit corporation) and subject to concession or food service contracts from fast food restaurant regulations

Exempts restaurants located on state, city, county, or port district lands (including public beaches, piers, state parks, and historic districts) that operate under concession or food service agreements

Maintains existing exemptions for bakery establishments operating on September 15, 2023, and restaurants within grocery establishments

Takes effect immediately as an urgency statute
