Department of Pesticide Regulation must establish and convene an Environmental Justice Advisory Committee by January 1, 2026

Advisory committee composed of up to 11 members including environmental justice leaders from rural and urban communities, Native American representatives, farmworker advocates, and experts in disadvantaged farming or agroecology

Committee shall provide prioritized recommendations on integrating environmental justice considerations into department programs and improving engagement with communities heavily exposed to pesticides

Advisory committee must hold minimum 2 public meetings annually with at least one held in a high pesticide use community, with remote call-in options and language access available

Committee recommendations and department responses must be posted on the department's internet website as needed
