Public housing authorities must report monthly success rates (as of the first of each month), current payment standards, average inspection wait times, and search times to the Department of Housing and Community Development beginning July 1, 2025, and annually thereafter.

The Department of Housing and Community Development must make reported data publicly available beginning January 1, 2026, and each year thereafter.

The department shall convene a diverse group of public housing authorities bi-annually from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2027, to discuss factors affecting success rates and recommendations for state and local interventions.

The department must publish a report with recommendations for state and local interventions to improve success rates by July 1, 2026, in consultation with Housing Choice Voucher program participants and other stakeholders.

The department shall submit annual reports to the Legislature evaluating statewide success rates and changes made to increase placement efficiencies.
