Establishes the California Firefighter Cancer Prevention and Research Program requesting the University of California to develop and administer a competitive grant program for eligible educational institutions to conduct cancer research on California firefighters.

Requires research to use a community-based participatory research model in collaboration with firefighters, focusing on biomarkers of carcinogenic exposure and cancer-promoting cellular changes.

Directs the University of California, in consultation with the FIRESCOPE Program, to develop program priorities, evaluate applications, and receive final funding recommendations from FIRESCOPE based on peer review.

Requires the University of California to submit reports to the Legislature on or before January 1, 2025, and January 1, 2030, detailing grant awards, funded institutions, participating fire departments, and research findings.

Implementation is contingent on the Regents of the University of California adopting a resolution agreeing to undertake the program duties outlined in the legislation.
